2nd week of three week TP

Sunday

At the morning I arrived earlier than my MST and the TA therefore I sit up the busy bee books according to their groups for the children so they can write and draw, also I attended teachers meetings to discuss and brain storm ideas for week 3-4-5, I took initiative to share some ideas and they actually will implement it after we are done from the TP. I did my input session of the PE but suddenly my MST told me that there are 2 more class will take part in this whole PE session so I made a last minutes change  by discussing quickly with my MST and clarifying each child’s role , it was really fun and children were enjoying it a lot. Moreover at the busy bee time I had to do graded reading with 3 group plus doing assessments for each single child which was really hard. Also I was assessing my MST while the RWInc session because first of all it was her fist time to implement it and secondly she asked my support therefore I didn’t have the opportunity to do the ICT session with the children, finally I read a story related to the KUW which called who eats what, and I did some song at the end of the day and they were enjoying it.

Monday

What a day wonderful da y I had it was full of joy, actually we went to ceramic c café which was awesome as you know pictures talk thousand words look and enjoy.

Tuesday

Generally it was a fun and busy day I did implement WRI session and after that strata away I went to do the sparkle time related to the math somehow I felt making the paper Masha was quite difficult and time consuming specially once it comes to let the balloons dries which means I have to push one of my next day’s activities in order to complete this one. However once I have seen the result I was extremely happy as well as my MST and TA.

Moreover children had fun when I did the treasure hunt it was really hectic because working to group of 16 children was quite difficult specially once it come to managing other class behavior , I was so disappointed although having the other class TA who suppose keep an eyes on the children and manage their behavior astonish she stand and do nothing to support .

Also I tote   a lesson related to the math and number lines therefor I made some activities such as making number line jellyfish tentacles for 3 different ability also making a sea creatures rulers as well as I have created a rainbow fish math booklets that I was proud my MST used it for children math assessment and it will go in their profile.

Thursday

It was very busy day My MST was away and I had to do all day assessment. Moreover I did exciting writing were the children, guided reading.

 unfortunatly I am not able to take any pictures this day(!-!)

In terms of the TP competency I did a granted of this specific area which is:

professionalism:  I made sure to displays a high standard of professional behavior , everyday I made sure to be punctual because on this time I can set up things and discuss and explain explicitly each day input planning and the activities.

Monitoring and Assessment: I made sure to look closely and praise children progress white any implementation during the circle time as well as giving them a feedbacks in order to improve their reading or writing skills after doing the exciting writing assessment and  during the individual guided reading.

ICT session

1st week of 3week block

Hi every one hopefully you all had very busy and fun 1^st week block, honestly my 1^st week was very tough because lots of changes accurse and every single time I had to make last munities charges. Also at the end of the day I lost my voice which was really frustrated. However know I have clear idea of every day routine which I believe that it will make me deal with all the things properly.

This week I did most of the required things that any teacher have to do such as implementing literacy and numeracy sessions even the unplanned one, moreover I did monitored the children during their snack and lunch time, also I did a lots of assessment for the children as well as implementing one on one reading session. Furthermore I did implemented some interesting activities that is related to the main theme of the week, which my MST think was fun and enjoyable for children, the best part was that she uses my math and CLL working sheet as a part of children assessment which makes me feel proud.

Regarding my Tp competency  I  am taking the initiative to form a positive relationship with children’s parents  for example this week one  of my classroom children introduced  me to their parent and she was hugging me which made me blushed. Moreover , I make sure to discusses and get a critical feed  backs regarding my input session from my MST , I make sure to discuss my next day plans and ask her if she wants to suggest anything related to enhance the input session.

Furthermore, regarding my management skills I am still working on my time management while rotating the activities as well as motivating children to participate new activities by providing a reason to support and enhance their learning which my MST always mentions at the end of the day.

Also regarding my Professionalism I always think wisely before acting or saying anything to both of my MST and the TA, Because there is a consequences for everything and I want to communicate as clear as possible to avoid any misunderstanding. I make sure to stay focus for any changes and alert for any new responsibility that my MST expect me to cover during a sudden meeting. I make sure to respect and work equally with everyone in my school which makes them feel comfortable to work with me no matter who they are and what are their positions.

I believe that teacher’s job is the most awesome job because there is a lot to teach and learn without limitations and boundaries if the schools provide all the facilities which are appropriate and match each Childs interest and needs. However there are some factors such as the environment that makes teachers job more complicated which I have experienced on my previous TP. So hopefully I learnt a lot and made my mind to work as a professional teacher.  Also some time teachers cant neglect the bad behavior with the children therefor she has to be strict which honestly I don’t like to do, but it is really essential otherwise children won’t learn how to respect and treat their colleagues in a good way. I think sometime teacher should do thinks that makes others think you are not a nice person. What do you think Mr Sean?

Bad day

Hi all of you

just want to tell you that I didn’t went to the TP because I had to do my tooth surgery therefore I talked to my MST and she was really supportive she told me that I don’t need to attend the class regarding my TP competency I showed how professional teacher act when she find out a problem and try to solve specific issue through communicating and giving and critical explanation of my situation.  

This is my teeth I kept it as a souvenir of my miserable times  (*~*)

Extremely Busy Day

Hi everyone I had extremely busy day of the TP because there was lots of things that I had to take care of with my MST and the rest of the staff. Therefore I couldn’t even have a break for lunch.

I had a good performance today basically first thing first I showed and explained my plan to my MST, then I did organize all the activities after the input session which was about the sound, honestly children this time were focused and they all loved the magical bottles sound that I tested in front of them by blowing in each bottles.  According to my MST s feedback she told me in terms of the management there is a huge improvement which really made me glad.

Moreover, I did reading with 6 children who are mixed abilities, during one to one reading session I realized how much effort it could take to teach each child reading. furthermore,

I did praised children’s good behaviors for being good listener and preforming as my instructions befor implementing the activities with me see below

Also I did participated in the show and tell session were children have the chance to bring an object from the home and speak it in front of their class room friend, while others have the chance to ask questions related to that object.

This is one of my physical related activity which called sound walk children in this particular activity should walk around the school and find human sound and the environment and then they need to draw and write some simple sentence see example above. 

 

Regarding the TP competencies,  finally I managed to build a good relationship with my MST and the parents. Moreover, this time I succeeded in controlling children’s negative behavior on the carpet. However still I think I need to focus on rotating the activities in the class room, so my next week target is to improve the quality of the rotation, my MST  told me that she is unorganized person and I am well organized and well-structured person and she want to gain some of my quality therefore she agreed to worked with me in a team teaching which I think I can learn so much interesting things from her.

furrthermore, I worked extremely hard on my Communication skills such as interacting professionally and effectively with teachers and parents, using appropriate body language, eye contact, gestures and voice to maintain an effective classroom presence.

Teacher should act and behave professionally and the most important thing is to give other people chance to listen others point of view and think about how to make changes in their life, no mater how perfect they pretend to be. As a matter of fact we all are different and I strongly believe that each one is especial and have unique quality ,the best thing is to work collaboratively to achieve the best and influence other were we inspire them to learn help in the process of the community.  so best of luck to all of you girl and try to work and enjoy every moment of the final TP. Remember keep smiling no mater how desperate you are and keep thinking positively good luck(>-~)

what a perfect day (^-^)

Hi girls What a day I had very interesting day with lots of fun and excitement. I think being appreciated from your MST and other teacher makes anyone feels good that whys I am happy.

I started my day with explaining the plane for my MST explicitly and preparing and organizing my activities.

Also I showed initiative to help my MST to teach one to one session of literacy and numeracy, therefore I took the child outside and I asked her how many litters you can see, try to sound each letter and then blend it there was times she fed up but I kept encouraging her by good job, I think you can read it. Also with this child it was difficult to teach numeracy may be because she spent long time reading letters.

Also I did the input session which was really cool children looked focused , this time I sat where I can keep my eyes on the clock so I finish in 10 minutes. I prepared the activities ahead on the tables and I explained it for the children explicitly how to carry on each activities. The best part was making the goat with junks as you can see in the picture below, during the activates I timed myself so I kept going back and watching the clock during the rotation time and guess what! Finally I succeed.

I felt so stressed because of the busy hectic day that I experienced, however it was worthwhile so next time I can work on my weakness and improve my strategies in management.  As Mr Sean said it all part of learning plan does review, so I believe that making mistakes know it better so I can seriously reflect and improve myself.

I preformed most of  my duties as a teacher for example my first concern was to show and explain explicitly my plane with my MST and then before setting up the activities I explained and demonstrated each activities for the children.  

Also I did mind maps with the children that is related to the Room On The Broom story creatures  as you can see in this pictures

Moreover , I did implemented some rhythm sound matching and numbers

Furthermore, I did the reading review activities where the children draw and write about their favourite characters of Joulis donelsons Room On the Broom, also I helped  with the organization of the P.J party and I contributed in reading review day by translating English stories children and parent in Arabic. which was wonderful and a success, while that I recognize that although I am talking in Arabic children were interacting and translating some numbers and actions in English which was amazing.

 because of that I intervene the opportunity to communicated and interacted with the parent formally.

At the end my MST took granted of my effort therefore she shared the book that I made for the classroom in front of the children and the parents, honestly their expression was WOaOW they seems really interested and fascinated from my effort. 

Watching my MST implementing phonics lesson made me curious therefore next week insha allah I am going to implement one to one session with group of children , therefore I will do my best to teach and learn in the same time so best of to me (^-^)

I strongly feel that I need to work on my organization while rotating the activities with the children ,  also I need to improve my strategies where I can control children’s hyper active behavior therefore I am going to set a visual rules for the circle time, moreover integrating some brain GYM activities could be beneficial, so girls if you have any useful ideas that you tried it previously with active classroom children please share it with me I really will be grateful.(0-!)

Including the UK EYFS in our school routine can be really beneficial, because once you start integrating them you can sense the differences such as being capable of dealing with different levels and standers of children, and as a teacher we start to take each child developing  learning progress seriously which helps building good human. 

I strongly believe that any teacher should be capable of monitoring and controlling a range of thing at a time, therefor teacher must building her abilities of management and organization so thing will move smoothly.

Moreover, teacher should be flexible and open minded where she can adapt new interesting motivating ideas, as a  I think we always need a piece of mind and a inspiring moment which helps us to develop ourselves not only as a human but as a teacher. And honestly I can see these things in my MST which really inspire me.
